Russia upholds 15-year espionage sentence for Romanian who allegedly fed air-defense data to Ukraine

A Russian appeals court on 19 June 2026 confirmed the conviction of 23-year-old Romanian citizen Adrian David Cherciu, who was accused of passing locations of air-defense systems in Sochi to Ukrainian intelligence.
