Burkina Faso severs diplomatic ties with France over alleged neo-colonial interference, Paris calls decision 'hostile and unfounded'

Burkina Faso's military junta severed diplomatic relations with France on Friday, accusing Paris of neo-colonial ambitions and support for subversive networks. France called the move 'hostile and unfounded' and said reciprocal measures are under review.
