On the night of 10 September 2026, Oasis illuminated the sky above the Joie Stadium at the Etihad Campus in Manchester with a coordinated drone light show. The display formed the group's monochrome logo before transitioning into text reading 14 September 2026 and 4:00 p.m. BST. The aerial performance occurred around 23:00 local time, surprising concertgoers exiting an Evanescence performance at the adjacent Co-op Live venue. Official band accounts published video footage of the presentation on the morning of 11 September 2026. The announcement on 14 September (scheduled for 17:00 Paris and Rome time, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time) will reveal details for their next live tour.

City teasers and prospective 2027 stops

The Manchester drone display followed a week of daily teaser vignettes published at 16:00 London time on official social media platforms. Each teaser clip contained clues and easter eggs suggesting prospective tour destinations for 2027. Fans identified featured cities as Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, and Boston. Linked venues include Manchester's Etihad Stadium, Celtic Park in Glasgow, the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, and Knebworth, where the group previously played to 250,000 fans across two nights in 1996. Italian reporting indicated two planned concerts at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on 24 and 25 July 2027, while Irish commentary discussed potential returns to Croke Park or Slane Castle, where Oasis first performed as support for R.E.M. in 1995 and later headlined in 2009.

Documentary release and tour operations

The promotional campaign coincided with the release of the documentary film Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. The feature opened in British cinemas on 9 September 2026 and globally on 11 September 2026. Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the film presents concert recordings alongside backstage material and the first joint interviews conducted with Noel and Liam Gallagher in more than twenty years.
