Tom Holland and Zendaya dine in La Latina, pose at Spider-Man photocall, and gear up for Spain's World Cup debut
The Spider-Man stars are in the Spanish capital for a promotional tour, mixing a romantic dinner, a red-carpet appearance and a football fan event.
A quiet dinner in La Latina
On Sunday night the couple slipped into Trèsde, a small neo-bistro on Calle Cava Alta, for a meal away from the spotlight. The restaurant, run by three childhood friends and holder of a Bib Gourmand and a Sol Repsol, serves a short French-influenced menu built around vegetables, a nod to Zendaya's vegetarian diet. Staff posted a photo of the actors with the team on Instagram, and the image quickly went viral.
Monday's photocall
Hours later, the pair appeared at the Four Seasons Madrid for the press event of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', the fourth Marvel installment they lead together. Holland wore a black suit with a deep red shirt, a wink to his web-slinging alter ego. Zendaya chose a black Christian Cowan design with a corseted bodice, asymmetric skirt and long fringe details, a silhouette the Spanish press likened to a traditional mantón. The film opens in cinemas on 29 July.

Tom Holland's World Cup appointment
Later on Monday, Holland was expected at the Plaza Selección fan zone in Plaza de Colón, ahead of Spain's opening World Cup match against Cape Verde. Whether Zendaya will join him was not confirmed. The Spanish national team debut has become an anchor for the couple's packed schedule, giving Holland a mass-audience moment with football supporters.
El Hormiguero on Tuesday
On 16 June, both actors will sit down with Pablo Motos on Antena 3's 'El Hormiguero', their first joint appearance on the programme. Producers have teased the interview as one of the most anticipated in the show's history, with the rumored secret wedding likely to be a topic.
A wedding that may or may not have happened
Reports surfaced in early March that the couple had married in a private ceremony after five years together, a claim the stylist Law Roach seemed to confirm. Holland and Zendaya have neither confirmed nor denied the news, telling some outlets that the photographs circulating were AI-generated. Their relationship was made public in 2021 after paparazzi captured them kissing in Los Angeles.
