Raul Fernandez (Aprilia) dominated the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 9 August, finishing ahead of championship leader Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi. Martin's second place extends his title advantage to 31 points over Bezzecchi, while Ai Ogura and Pecco Bagnaia both crashed out.

Aston Martin arrived at the Hungaroring with a B-spec car carrying 16 new components, the first major update of a dismal season. Adrian Newey called early practice signs promising and said the immediate goal is to stop merely circulating and start racing 'with dignity.'
