US lawmakers warn banks that importing Russian diesel under Trump deal may be illegal
Seven US lawmakers sent letters dated Saturday, 24 October, to six large banks and four port authorities, warning that importing Russian diesel under the Trump-Putin arrangement could expose firms to criminal and civil liability. The letters were made public on Monday, 26 October.
