Bayreuth scales back 150th anniversary festival program after €344,000 budget gap discovered

The city of Bayreuth has canceled its planned festival mile for the 150th Bayreuth Festival after a double-counting error left a €344,000 shortfall, but a scaled-back program with a concert and serenade may still go ahead.
