From 13 July 2026, Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) began issuing redesigned retirement and pensioner ID cards. The plastic version gets advanced anti-counterfeiting elements and a grey-blue look, while the digital mLegitymacja in the mObywatel app is simplified. Existing cards remain valid with no mandatory exchange.
