Romania's PNL begins expelling members who backed failed Veștea government

Romania's National Liberal Party (PNL) meets on June 23 to formalize the expulsion of up to 21 lawmakers and local leaders who defied the party line and voted for the investiture of the Cabinet led by Adrian Veștea. The government was rejected in parliament, falling short of the needed majority.
