    Life sentence for main defendant in 2017 death of 11-year-old Marios in Menidi; second defendant acquitted

    A Greek court unanimously convicted the main defendant of intentional homicide with possible intent and sentenced him to life imprisonment for the death of 11-year-old Marios Souloukos, struck by a stray bullet during a school celebration in Menidi in June 2017.
