The vote
Swiss voters head to the polls on Sunday, 14 June 2026, to decide on the federal popular initiative 'Keine 10-Millionen-Schweiz!' (No 10-Million Switzerland). The initiative, put forward by the Swiss People's Party (SVP), proposes a constitutional cap on the resident population at fewer than 10 million people.
