Fourth-quarter turnaround in Baltimore
The New Orleans Saints erased an eight-point deficit to defeat the Baltimore Ravens 24-17 on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore led 14-6 at halftime and 17-9 after three quarters before New Orleans mounted two late scoring drives. Second-year quarterback Tyler Shough completed a 21-yard touchdown pass to Chris Olave with 9:42 remaining, and Travis Etienne added a two-point conversion run to tie the score at 17-17. The Saints defense forced a three-and-out on Baltimore's next possession, setting up a 16-play, 68-yard march. Shough capped the drive with a one-yard touchdown on a fourth-down quarterback sneak with 1:28 remaining.

Baltimore late-game collapse
The defeat marked Baltimore's 15th loss since 2021 when leading after three quarters, the highest total in the NFL over that period. First-year head coach Jesse Minter suffered his first loss with Baltimore following a 41-23 Week 1 win over Indianapolis. Baltimore had the ball only once in the fourth quarter until its final drive began with 1:21 left. Lamar Jackson moved the Ravens to the Saints' 37-yard line, but safety Julian Blackmon intercepted his pass with 13 seconds remaining. The Ravens played without receiver Zay Flowers due to a hamstring injury, while Rashod Bateman caught seven passes for 88 yards and one touchdown.
Minter addressed the repeated fourth-quarter issues following the game.
Everybody's going to just say the same old thing of having a lead, things like that. So man, you know, we will own this. We'll look in the mirror. We'll figure out what we can do to improve.
Defensive tackle Calais Campbell dismissed the role of previous seasons.

Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams exited in the fourth quarter with a non-contact hamstring injury on a run from the six-yard line. In Pittsburgh, the New England Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-3 as TreVeyon Henderson scored on a 39-yard run and Eli Ponder returned a fumble 19 yards for a touchdown. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel avoided an 0-2 start, while 42-year-old Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers lost two fumbles.
