Amazon and AliExpress roll out early October discounts across tech and outdoor gear

Early autumn retail campaigns

Online retailers Amazon and AliExpress opened promotional campaigns in Spain on 1 October, offering reduced prices across home security, reading hardware, video accessories, and outdoor gear. The promotions anticipate autumn shopping demand and preview upcoming events such as Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day. Price cuts reach across several product categories, from pocket cameras and wireless earbuds to trail running footwear and connected indoor security devices.

Smart home cameras and e-readers

Home security packages received substantial price reductions at the start of October. Amazon discounted its Blink security package by 73%. The bundle includes four wireless Outdoor 4 cameras powered by AA lithium batteries and one wired Mini 2K+ indoor camera featuring 4x zoom, color night vision, and background noise cancellation. The Mini 2K+ can also function as an indoor chime when paired with the separately sold Blink Video Doorbell. Live monitoring, two-way audio, and dual-zone motion detection operate without a subscription, while 30-day cloud recording and automated recognition require a paid plan following a 30-day trial. TP-Link's Tapo C201 indoor camera offers motorized pan and tilt, Full HD resolution, and night vision between 9 and 12 meters.

In reading devices, Amazon applied a 47% discount to its latest-generation lightweight Kindle in matcha green. The device provides 16 GB of internal storage, an adjustable front light, a glare-free screen designed to emulate printed paper, and an ad-free lock screen without sponsored promotions.

Video recording and personal audio hardware

On AliExpress, a promotion running from 1 October to 7 October offers the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 pocket camera for 368 euros with free shipping from Spain using coupon code ESLD45, down from its 499-euro list price and 476 euros on Amazon. The standard package includes the camera, protective case, charging cable, and wrist strap, featuring a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 10-bit D-Log M color profile, and a three-axis mechanical gimbal. AliExpress also published tiered coupon codes offering reductions from 2 euros on 18-euro purchases up to 60 euros on orders reaching 469 euros.

In personal audio, Anker discounted the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro true wireless earbuds to 139.99 euros. The earbuds feature an integrated display on the charging case for toggling active noise cancellation modes, adjusting the equalizer, and enabling Dolby Atmos. The model includes real-time translation support across 100 languages and provides double the noise cancellation capacity of its predecessor.

Outdoor sports gear and footwear

Seasonal apparel and trail footwear also saw reductions on Amazon on 1 October. The Salomon Speedcross Peak women's waterproof trail running shoes dropped by 22% to 69.99 euros. The footwear features deep-lug Contagrip outsoles, reinforced toe and heel caps, and a Quicklace tensioning system designed for wet and muddy terrain. Additional discounts on sports apparel include reductions of up to 44% on Adidas Terrex hiking footwear alongside deals on brands including Columbia.
