A poll conducted by United Surveys by IBRiS for Wirtualna Polska on 24-25 July 2026 finds 58% of respondents rating the coalition government under Prime Minister Donald Tusk negatively. Of those, 36.2% describe their assessment as 'definitely negative' and 21.8% as 'rather negative'. On the positive side, 35.9% rate the government favourably overall, but only 3.5% choose 'definitely positive', while 32.4% opt for 'rather positive'. A further 6.1% have no opinion. The survey used a mix-mode CAWI/CATI method on a representative nationwide sample of 1000 people.

Divide along party lines
The poll reveals a stark polarisation tied to political sympathies. Among supporters of the governing coalition, 81% assess the government positively, with 70% choosing 'rather positive' and 11% 'definitely positive'. Only 8% of this group are critical, split between 5% 'rather negative' and 3% 'definitely negative', while 11% express no opinion.
Opposition voters, defined in the study as supporters of PiS, Partia Razem, Konfederacja and Konfederacja Korony Polskiej, are nearly unanimous in disapproval: 95% rate the government negatively, including 71% 'definitely negative' and 24% 'rather negative'. Just 3% of opposition sympathisers respond 'rather positive' and 2% have no opinion.

Konfederacja and unaffiliated voters
Voters of both Konfederacja factions are among the most critical: 94% assess the government negatively, with 60% 'definitely negative' and 34% 'rather negative'. Only 2% rate it 'rather positive' and 4% say it is hard to say.
Among 'remaining voters', those not aligned with either the governing camp or the listed opposition parties, 62% hold a negative view. Within that group, 39% respond 'rather negative' and 23% 'definitely negative', while 32% lean 'rather positive'.
Government context
Donald Tusk has led the coalition government since December 2023, following the parliamentary elections of 15 October 2023. The cabinet comprises KO, Trzecja Droga and the Left. According to FAKT24, the government consists of 19 constitutional ministers, 13 ministers in the Prime Minister's Chancellery and 76 deputy ministers, totalling 108 ministers and deputy ministers. The 2026 state budget allocates over 648 million PLN for the government's maintenance.
