Pechino Express 2027 cast revealed: ten couples race from Pacific to Atlantic across South America

A new route across South America

The cast of the 2027 season of Pechino Express was unveiled on 29 October 2026 by several Italian outlets. The season, titled La rotta dei due Oceani, will air exclusively on Sky and stream on NOW. Costantino della Gherardesca will again act as captain of the expedition, guiding ten couples across a continent new to the format. The travellers will move from west to east, starting on the Pacific side and finishing on the Atlantic coast.

The celebrity pairs

Rocco Siffredi, 62, travels with his wife Rózsa Tassi, 54, whom he has been married to since 1993. The couple have two sons, Lorenzo, 30, and Leonardo, 27. Siffredi was the subject of the 2024 series Supersex and debuted in cinemas in 2026 as a dramatic actor in the arthouse film Blue. Tassi is a former model, described as Hungarian-born and naturalised Italian. Franceska Nuredini, 25, has built her career across television and music tours and has worked with Elodie, and she is paired with Ginevra Festa, 27, a former Velina of Striscia la Notizia. Benji and Fede, the pop duo from Modena, form a further pairing; their names are Benjamin Mascolo and Federico Rossi, and their reunion was announced in 2024 with the project Rewind after a 2020 separation.

The remaining couples

Andrew Howe, a former long jumper who won silver at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, will compete alongside Tommaso Marino. Cleo Ungarelli and Dani Piccirillo represent Le Bambole di Pezza, a Milan rock band made up entirely of women that has performed at Sanremo. Angela Bella Fisica Lin, known on social media for a meme that started in her shop, is paired with Alessandro Zhu. Danilo da Fiumicino teams up with Alessandro Pieravanti, the drummer of Muro del Canto. Riccardo De Marco (DeNa) and Maria Bosco (MeriBì) are creators with a young online audience, while Alessia Lanza and Andrea Fratino come from social media and digital entertainment.

The route

The couples will cross the Chilean deserts and the Andes, then the Argentine plains before reaching the Iguazú Falls. From there the route continues into the Brazilian Pantanal, along old gold-mining trails and on to Rio de Janeiro. Sources describe the route as very demanding and as the first to take the travellers from the Pacific to the Atlantic in a single crossing of the continent. The format keeps its usual mix of travel challenges, and the couples will have to manage their journey on foot and on the road.

Sisters and what comes next

Elisabetta Gregoraci, a showgirl and television presence, will travel with her sister Marzia, and the two Calabrian sisters are expected to face forced cohabitation, backpacking, hitchhiking and unforeseen events that will test their bond. The 2027 broadcast dates have not been given in the articles beyond the year. The season will air on Sky, with streaming on NOW.
