
Lenovo unveils fanless AeroBlade and rollable Swan concepts alongside RTX Spark Yoga laptops
At IFA Berlin 2026, Lenovo showcased two concept laptops featuring solid-state cooling and an unrolling display, alongside new Yoga laptops powered by Nvidia Arm processors.
Solid-state cooling in Project AeroBlade
Lenovo presented two prototype laptops and several production computers at the IFA Berlin 2026 electronics trade show. The Project AeroBlade Concept eliminates traditional cooling fans by integrating Frore Systems AirJet Mini solid-state cooling modules. The system, termed the Lenovo Active Flow Thermal Solution, uses vibrating piezoelectric membranes to generate 2,000 Pascals of back pressure (approximately 124 miles per hour). This airflow is directed onto a copper base layer through micro-jets to disperse processor heat out the chassis rear without boundary layer throttling. A demonstrated motherboard prototype houses four AirJet modules along the top edge. The 14-inch laptop uses a magnesium-aluminum chassis measuring less than 10 millimeters in thickness and weighing 1.8 pounds (830 grams). Built around an Intel Lunar Lake processor, the machine includes an OLED display, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and Thunderbolt 4 ports while omitting underside intake vents.

Rollable screen in Project Swan
Lenovo also demonstrated the ThinkBook Project Swan, a concept productivity notebook featuring an expanding OLED panel. The 14-inch screen unrolls horizontally into a 17-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio at the press of a button. The laptop chassis measures 17.9 millimeters (0.7 inches) in thickness and weighs 3.5 pounds (1.6 kilograms). Unlike previous expanding prototypes designed for gaming, Project Swan packages its rolling motor and extra display assembly inside the display lid. The prototype runs on an Intel Lunar Lake processor and features a full-sized keyboard, dual USB-C ports, integrated speakers, and an internal webcam. Lenovo has not announced retail pricing or a commercial release schedule for either concept device.
Yoga laptops with Nvidia RTX Spark
For commercial release, Lenovo detailed two laptops powered by Nvidia Arm-based RTX Spark processors, scheduled to enter the market in October 2026. The 15.3-inch Yoga Pro 9n incorporates the top-tier N1X system-on-chip, which pairs a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores. The laptop supports up to 128 gigabytes of 9,400 MT/s unified memory, up to 4 terabytes of solid-state storage, a 92.5 watt-hour battery, and a 140-watt power adapter. Its 2.5K OLED screen operates between 48Hz and 165Hz. Lenovo also introduced the Yoga 9n 2-in-1, a 4.3-pound convertible with a 16-inch OLED display, up to 64 gigabytes of unified memory, and a 99.9 watt-hour battery. The convertible includes a haptic trackpad and the Yoga Pen stylus, which functions across both the trackpad and the main touchscreen.

Tablet additions and processor options
The Nvidia RTX Spark N1X processor will also ship in a standard configuration pairing an 18-core Grace CPU with a 5,120-core Blackwell GPU and 24 to 32 gigabytes of unified memory across partner vendors. Alongside the laptops, Lenovo introduced two Android 17 tablets scheduled for release later in September 2026. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 13-inch 4K display, and Harman Kardon audio, priced from 1,000 dollars. The lower-tier Yoga Tab Gen 2 uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor and is priced at 730 dollars. Both tablets support optional detachable keyboards and stylus accessories.
