J Kbello wins third gala of 'Tu cara me suena 13' with Elvis impersonation, leads standings ahead of Gala 10

J Kbello delivered an imitation of Elvis Presley's 'Bossa Nova Baby' that secured him a third win in the thirteenth edition of 'Tu cara me suena'. The jury, including Chenoa, gave him a maximum 12 points, and the public vote added another 12 for a perfect 24. His performance was described as hypnotic and almost millimeter-precise in replicating Presley's vocal and physical mannerisms.

Kbello, visibly emotional, said he had dreamed of being a dancer on the show since childhood and cannot afford to take the opportunity lightly. He donated the €3,000 prize to the El Pulmón de la Bahía association for the recovery of a natural space in Puerto Real, Cádiz, devastated by a fire.

Since I was little I dreamed of being a dancer on this program. Seeing myself here and having been given the chance to do all this means I cannot take it lightly. I have great respect for my profession, for this show and for my colleagues.

Standings tighten

With the win, Kbello overtook María Parrado again and now sits at 185 points, three ahead of her 182. Cristina Castaño completes the podium with 173, while Martín Savi follows on 159. The full classification after Gala 9 shows a competitive race in the final stretch of the season.

Emotional moments

Parrado took second place with a medley of Merche hits styled as a Super Bowl halftime show, a viral meme materialising on stage. The real Merche surprised the audience at the end of the number. Other notable performances included Martín Savi as Freddie Mercury and the comedic pair of Aníbal Gómez and Leonor Lavado, who impersonated their own edition mates Jesulín de Ubrique and Paula Koops.

Gala 10 ahead

The programme has already announced the line-up for the next gala, where contestants will again have to demonstrate versatility. Lavado will tackle Bad Gyal and Juanka with a friend, Paula Koops will be Aitana, Aníbal Gómez takes on Depeche Mode, Sole Giménez transforms into Kylie Minogue, Jesulín de Ubrique will be S.B.S., Martín Savi pairs with David Bisbal and Luis Fonsi, Cristina Castaño becomes Florence + The Machine, María Parrado is Isabel Pantoja, and J Kbello will close as Aerosmith. The upcoming show is expected to consolidate positions and start profiling the edition's favourites.
