Huawei unveils Watch GT 7 smartwatch lineup featuring titanium Pro build and 20-day battery
Presented in Munich, the new smartwatch series spans 41 mm, 46 mm, and Pro variants with enhanced health metrics, 40-metre free diving support, and up to 51 hours of trail running GPS tracking.
Hardware specifications and materials
Huawei presented its updated Watch GT 7 series in Munich, bringing premium materials and upgraded sports tracking hardware to the line. The flagship Watch GT 7 Pro incorporates a titanium alloy case with an octagonal contour, a nanocrystalline ceramic bezel, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens. The Pro casing measures 45.6 millimetres across, 11.25 millimetres in thickness, and weighs 55.5 grams without a strap. Its 1.47-inch AMOLED screen delivers a 466 by 466 pixel resolution with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, allowing outdoor viewing of navigation maps, heart rate data, and trail gradients under direct sunlight. Water protection includes IP69 and 5 ATM certifications alongside dedicated free-diving apnea support down to 40 metres. The model also debuts the EasyCross strap system, which tucks the strap tail underneath the band to prevent accidental detachment during movement while supporting swaps to conventional buckle bands.
Lineup sizing and finish options
The smartwatch family launches in Spain across three distinct editions: the Watch GT 7 Pro, the standard Watch GT 7 in 46 millimetres, and the compact Watch GT 7 in 41 millimetres. Huawei offers eight colour combinations across the standard casing formats to address varying styling and functional needs. The 41-millimetre model weighs 37.5 grams without its band, providing a lighter profile suited for smaller wrists and overnight wear during sleep. Colorways for the 41-millimetre version include Grey, Pink, Baby Blue, and a White Green edition paired with a composite leather strap. The larger 46-millimetre edition offers an energetic yellow option fitted with a sweat-resistant fluoroelastomer strap designed for athletic workouts.

Health analytics and operating features
The lineup introduces refreshed sports tracking capabilities, featuring improved data collection for cycling, skiing, and trail running alongside a dedicated recovery monitor. Daily well-being functions add a Body Readiness evaluation and an AI-driven Health Insights tool that groups data into featured observations to detect physical stress and sleep disruption. The devices run Huawei's HarmonyOS platform, operated through a rotating crown and a secondary physical push button. The operating system supports contactless wrist payments and synchronizes with both Android and iOS handsets. However, third-party application support remains restricted compared to dedicated mobile platforms, limiting messaging on apps like WhatsApp to incoming notifications and short pre-configured replies.
Battery life and warranty terms
The Watch GT 7 lineup retains high battery longevity, with the 46-millimetre version providing up to 20 days of operation under typical usage. The smaller 41-millimetre variant delivers approximately one week of real-world battery life between charges. When running dedicated GPS tracking in trail running mode, the Watch GT 7 Pro maintains continuous operation for up to 51 hours. Huawei pairs the release with its Care Proteccion Total warranty program covering the first two years of ownership. This policy covers accidental repairs to the display screen, rear case cover, and rotating crown, while guaranteeing battery replacements if maximum capacity falls below 85%.
