Woodwork denies Górnik in first half

Górnik Zabrze pushed forward from the opening whistle in an effort to establish early control. The visiting side came close to scoring within the opening minutes, only to be denied twice by the frame of the goal. Forward Maksym Khlan attempted to loft the ball over goalkeeper Gasper Tratnik, but the shot struck the junction of the crossbar and post. Moments later, midfielder Malthe Hojholt struck the post with a long-range shot from outside the penalty box. Motor Lublin suffered a setback when Portuguese midfielder Ivo Rodrigues sustained a shoulder injury, forcing him off after 31 minutes. Rodrigues was replaced by Mateusz Łęgowski in the 34th minute.
