The Sargan-3000 platform represents an evolution in naval operations from one-way explosive vessels toward multi-mission craft fitted with direct-fire weapon systems. When the Russians so blatantly make the civilian population the target of their terrorist attacks, it is frustrating that the response of the world's strongest powers does not match the level of Russia's escalation.
