Man stabbed to death in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat; 35-year-old suspect arrested

The incident
A man was stabbed to death late Monday night in the Florida neighbourhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, a municipality in the Barcelona metropolitan area. The attack took place around 23:00 at the intersection of calle de les Bòbiles and calle del Pedraforca. The victim, an Ecuadorian national, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead.
Police response and arrest
The Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's police force, received an alert about a person seriously injured in the street. Several citizen security patrols and medical teams were dispatched. Upon arrival, officers found the victim's body with clear signs of violence. A 35-year-old man was detained very close to the scene on suspicion of involvement in the killing. The arrest was made in the early hours of Tuesday.
Second injured person
