Spanish police arrest three men after woman found dead in Benidorm field

According to their statements to officers, the two acquaintances went to the residence to verify the claim and found the woman dead inside the property. They stated that the alleged perpetrator then issued threats against them, compelling them to help conceal the crime. One of the men provided his personal vehicle to transport the body, while the second man assisted in carrying and moving the victim to an open field located between Benidorm and the neighboring municipality of Finestrat.

Tactical operation and three arrests

Upon receiving the confession and report, the National Police coordinated an immediate operation across multiple citizen security units and activated the violent crime protocol. Specialist teams from the Judicial Police and the Scientific Police were dispatched directly to the rural site between Benidorm and Finestrat. Officers discovered the buried body of a Caucasian woman, whom investigators identified as the partner of the suspect, pending formal identity confirmation. Following the recovery of the body, police established a security perimeter around the residence of the alleged perpetrator, locating and arresting him on suspicion of homicide. Investigators subsequently detained both informants on suspicion of cover-up and complicity for their respective roles in providing transport and moving the body. The three arrested men, aged 30, 40, and 45, were scheduled to appear for their initial judicial interrogation before a Benidorm court on Monday.

While investigators in Seville found no prior complaints between that couple, the victim had previously been registered in Spain's Viogén monitoring system in connection with an earlier relationship.
