Morocco took the lead with a delicate through ball from Brahim Díaz and a chip finish by Saibari. Brazil equalised through a brilliant goal from Vinícius Júnior. The draw leaves both teams with one point in Group G.
Scotland and Australia start with wins
Scotland defeated Haiti 1–0 thanks to a first-half goal from John McGinn. Australia beat Turkey 2–0 in their opening fixture. Both teams earn three points and join the early leaders in their groups.
Sunday's action
Germany faced Curaçao in Group E at 19:00 local time, while the Netherlands took on Japan at 22:00. In the early hours of Monday, Ivory Coast met Ecuador at 01:00 and Sweden played Tunisia at 04:00. All four matches took place across North American venues.
Spain ready for debut
Spain finalises its preparation for the opening match on Monday at 18:00 against Cape Verde. Coach Luis de la Fuente now has a full squad available after the recoveries of Lamine Yamal, Víctor Muñoz and Nico Williams.
