
Académico de Viseu defeat Vitória SC 2-1 with stoppage-time goal
Mohamed Bouldini scored in the 93rd minute to earn Académico de Viseu a 2-1 victory over Vitória SC at the Estádio do Fontelo on Saturday.
First home win at the Fontelo
Académico de Viseu secured their first home victory of the 2026/27 Primeira Liga season on Saturday evening, defeating Vitória SC 2-1 at the Estádio Municipal do Fontelo. The sixth-round fixture concluded the day's league schedule and marked a second consecutive win for the hosts, who had defeated Gil Vicente in the preceding round. Before this fixture, the Viseu-based side had suffered two consecutive home defeats without scoring, losing 0-1 against Santa Clara and 0-3 against FC Porto. The victory lifted Académico de Viseu into seventh place in the league table with eight points, while Vitória SC remained in 12th place on four points after failing to collect points away from Guimarães this season.

Missed chances in a scoreless first half
The visiting side from Guimarães, managed by Tiago Margarido, created several early scoring opportunities during a contested opening half.
