Police shoot machete-wielding attacker in Trzcianka; father's body found outside building

Officers responding to a domestic disturbance in Trzcianka, western Poland, were attacked with a machete-like weapon on Saturday evening. One officer was wounded before two policemen opened fire, wounding the assailant; the body of the attacker's father was then discovered outside the apartment block.
