    Deutsche Bahn targets 10 July reopening for the renovated Cologne–Hagen rail corridor, with S‑Bahn relief already underway

    After more than five months of full closure for a “Generalsanierung,” Deutsche Bahn says the heavily used route from Cologne via Wuppertal to Hagen will resume service on the evening of 10 July. Over 90 percent of track and overhead line work is complete, and parallel S‑Bahn tracks have already reopened.
