Cities across Poland will sound air-raid sirens and hold ceremonies on 1 August 2026 to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the largest armed resistance operation of the Polish underground during World War II. Memorials, concerts, and special tram services are planned from Gdańsk to Kraków.
