President Nawrocki sets 28 July for swearing-in of Constitutional Tribunal judge Patyra, ending month-long wait
President Karol Nawrocki will receive the oath from Constitutional Tribunal judge-elect Prof. Sławomir Patyra next Tuesday, the head of the President's Chancellery announced on 22 July, ending a month-long standoff over the tribunal's composition.

The Sejm voted 235–184 on Thursday to appoint Dr hab. Sławomir Patyra, a constitutional law scholar from Lublin's UMCS, to the Constitutional Tribunal. He fills the seat of Andrzej Zielonacki, whose nine-year term expires on 28 June.
