The Clipper Endeavor, a Pan Am DC-4 that crashed off Puerto Rico on 11 April 1952, has been located at a depth of 610 metres by a sonar-equipped drone. The disaster killed 52 people and prompted mandatory pre-flight safety briefings worldwide.
