Scottish Conservatives win Aberdeen South by-election, first Westminster gain since 1967
The Scottish Conservatives have won the Aberdeen South by-election, overturning a 3,758-vote SNP majority on a backlash against restrictions on North Sea oil and gas drilling. It is the party's first Westminster by-election gain in Scotland in more than 50 years.
