El-Sayed and Rogers trade insults in fiery Michigan Senate debate
Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers faced off Thursday night in their first televised debate, less than a month before the November 3 midterms. Rogers repeatedly linked El-Sayed, who is Muslim, to Hezbollah, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda, claims for which no evidence has been put forward.
