    Black Forest mountain rescue deploys 100-kg cargo drone, a first for German security authorities

    The Bergwacht Schwarzwald has put into service a new heavy-lift drone that can carry up to 100 kilograms of equipment to remote sites, reducing rescue times on dangerous slopes. The drone, operational since May, is among the first of its kind used by security authorities in Germany.
