Italian government signs contract for 430,000 security and defence staff with minimum 100-euro net pay rise and 17,591 new hires
The Italian government has agreed a 2025-2027 contract for about 430,000 police and military personnel, delivering at least 100 euros net more per month, a 2,448-euro one-off payment, and plans to recruit 17,591 new officers.
