Polish Catholic priest, martyr, blessed (1947–1984)
The Archdiocese of Warsaw announced that Father Stanislaw Malkowski, a prominent dissident in the Polish People's Republic and close associate of Father Jerzy Popieluszko, died on the night of 7 September.
