Philippines earthquake lifts seabed by up to two metres, exposing coral reefs and killing marine life

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the southern Philippines on Monday lifted the ocean floor by as much as two metres in coastal areas, exposing coral, killing reef fish and prompting resident fears of toxic fumes from decomposing marine life.
