What we shipped
Pollar has a Live view for stories that are still developing. Instead of scattering an unfolding event across dozens of near-identical articles, we track it as it moves and group the reporting into one continuous thread, so you can follow it from the first report through later updates in a single place.
In the beta iPhone app, an active story can sit on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island and update in place, so you see the latest without opening the app.
Why it matters
Breaking news is where repetition does the most damage: the same development, reworded across dozens of stories. Grouping holds it in one coherent timeline and cuts that duplication. The reporting stays the same independent, cross-border work that runs through the rest of Pollar.
