Are Robert Pattinson and Nicholas Hoult in the race for James Bond?

Reports, citing insiders, say Robert Pattinson, who played Bruce Wayne in The Batman, screen-tested for the role, with the tests said to have been held in London in late October. Nicholas Hoult is also reported to have taken part.

Reports say up to 5 actors are in contention, and Josh O'Connor and Callum Turner were linked to the part earlier.

Jack Lowden, one of the names linked to the role before these reports, told GQ: I'm just not really going to add to the noise. Amazon MGM Studios has not commented on the reports or announced a casting decision.
