18-year-old Ukrainian arrested after knife attack on woman in Wrocław stairwell

The attack
On Saturday, 1 August 2026, a 30-year-old Polish woman was stabbed multiple times in the stairwell of a building on Gagarina Street in the Muchobór Wielki district of Wrocław. Monika Kaleta, another police spokesperson, confirmed to RMF FM that the 18-year-old is a Ukrainian citizen.
