Robbie Williams, The Neighbourhood, and Sombr lead Lollapalooza Berlin 2027
Organizers have announced the first three acts for Lollapalooza Berlin on 17 and 18 July 2027 at Olympiapark, featuring Robbie Williams alongside The Neighbourhood and Sombr.
Lineup reveal and headliner debut
British pop singer Robbie Williams will headline the 2027 edition of Lollapalooza Berlin, scheduled for 17 and 18 July 2027 at the Olympiastadion and Olympiapark Berlin. The performance will mark the festival debut in the German capital for the 52-year-old artist. Organizers also confirmed appearances by California indie band The Neighbourhood and 21-year-old American singer-songwriter Sombr. Festival organizers dropped encoded hints about the initial three performers during a listening session on Tuesday, where attendees identified Williams first. The festival announced that further musical acts and additional program details will be released in subsequent announcements. The 2027 edition carries the official festival motto "Let us entertain you", referencing the British pop musician's classic track.
Artist backgrounds and recent records
Williams, who gained recognition as a member of Take That, released his 13th studio album titled "Britpop" in early 2026, featuring guest appearances by Chris Martin, Gaz Coombes, and Tony Iommi. The Neighbourhood, fronted by 35-year-old lead singer Jesse Rutherford, will perform in Berlin following their return from a hiatus begun in 2022 and ended in August 2025. Known for hits including "Sweater Weather" from the EP "I'm Sorry..." and their 2013 debut album "I Love You.", the California group released the album "(((((ultraSOUND)))))" in 2025. The band embarked on an arena world tour in 2026 after German tour dates in May sold out within minutes. New York singer-songwriter Shane Boose, performing under the moniker Sombr, joins the bill after securing a Grammy nomination and reaching the number one spot on the global Spotify charts in 2025 with "back to friends". His summer festival slot follows a standalone arena performance scheduled for 18 May 2027 at Berlin's Uber Arena.

Venue history and festival origins
Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell established Lollapalooza in the United States in 1991 before the brand expanded overseas. Berlin became the festival's first European host city in 2015 when the initial German edition took place at Tempelhofer Feld. The event later moved to Treptower Park and the Hoppegarten racecourse before finding a permanent venue at Olympiapark in 2018. The previous edition on 18 and 19 July 2026 drew an estimated 100,000 attendees to performances by Pitbull, Lewis Capaldi, and Lorde. The July 2027 festival will continue using both the Olympiastadion and the surrounding Olympiapark grounds for its stages.
