Warsaw police search for 13-year-old girl missing since Saturday, 10 October
A 13-year-old girl has not been in contact with her family since she left home in Warsaw's Ochota district on Saturday, 10 October. Her phone was last located near the Świętokrzyski Bridge, and the phone has not been found.
Disappearance on Saturday, 10 October
The girl left her home in Warsaw's Ochota district on Saturday, 10 October, telling her parents she was going to visit a friend who lived nearby. Accounts differ on when she left. Warszawa Nasze Miasto gives about 15:00, while Onet and TVP Info, citing the parents' account posted on the Facebook profile Gdziekolwiek jesteś, give about 18:00. Polsat News reports only that she left in the afternoon. According to the parents' account, she had never caused problems before, had never disappeared and had never cut off contact, which they describe as very unusual. The disappearance was reported to police on the same day, according to a podcast that examined the case.
Parents' account and phone location
Around 20:40 the parents saw on a location app that her phone was near the Vistula boulevards (Bulwary Wiślane). They called her, and she said she was heading home and would arrive in 10 minutes. The podcast noted that reaching home by metro in that time was not realistically possible. By 21:00 she had not arrived, and her phone was switched off. Her mother told the podcast that the phone's last logged location was near the Świętokrzyski Bridge within the previous 24 hours, but the phone itself has not been found.

Police search and appeal
Officers from the Warsaw III district police, which covers Ochota, are searching for the girl. A district police spokeswoman confirmed the search to Polsat News on 12 October, saying the priority is establishing where the girl is and that she could not disclose details of the case. Police said no Child Alert was planned at that time. The girl is about 170 cm tall, slim, with long straight dark blond hair and green eyes. The parents' description says she was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey flared jeans and white sports shoes, while Polsat News, citing police, gives grey tracksuit trousers and adds a small grey handbag. She was carrying an inactive phone, a school ID and a city transport card. Anyone with information can call 47 723 93 50, 47 723 93 51 or 723 93 43, contact the nearest police unit, or dial 112 or 997.
Medical condition and unverified claims
The missing-person post says the girl has epilepsy, and the podcast reports she left home without the medication she needs regularly. The mother also said the girl had been in contact with friends the family considered a bad influence, despite a full ban on such contact, and that these friends were in a circle where alcohol is drunk. The podcast also relayed a claim that she had been seen in a nightclub. None of the sources confirm that claim.
Open questions
As of the latest reports, the girl's whereabouts remain unknown. The family says billing records and some CCTV footage were checked, but no large-scale search was organised. The articles do not describe what the checks found, and they do not establish where the girl was between 21:00 on 10 October and the publication of the appeal on 12 October.
