Career and record

Nascimento had been with the UFC since 2021 and competed in the flyweight division. His professional mixed martial arts record stands at 22 wins and 7 losses across 29 bouts. Within the UFC, he compiled a 4-2 record. Known by the nickname "Puro Osso", a moniker he earned at his gym because of his low body weight, he was recognised for his finishing ability: 15 of his victories came by submission, two by knockout, and five by judges' decision.

He began training in muay-thai at age 15 as a hobby, but exposure to professional athletes at his gym pushed him into competition early. He trained at the Chute Boxe academy in São Paulo under coach Diego Lima, alongside fighters such as former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.

Final fight

Nascimento's last appearance in the octagon came in June at UFC Vegas 119 in Las Vegas, where he faced Mitch Raposo. He lost the bout by split decision. That result left his UFC record at four wins and two losses.

UFC reporter Evelyn Rodrigues called Nascimento one of the kindest people she had met through MMA. Fellow UFC fighter Caio Borralho described him as polite, full of positive energy, and always in a good mood, adding that he would be missed.
