Witness accounts and a 75-second video obtained by local media show the argument escalating rapidly. The older man went to his car boot, pulled out a trident spear measuring 130 centimetres, and advanced on the two brothers, who retreated at a run while one of them tried to call the police on his mobile phone.

Residents who had come out onto their balconies shouted for the police to be summoned and urged the elderly man to lower the weapon and calm down. The footage captures the brothers dodging the trident's thrusts as the man pursued them across the garage.
Police response and arrest
Officers from the DI.AS motorcycle unit were alerted and arrived at the scene shortly after. They immobilised the 77-year-old and took him to the Municipal Theatre Police Station, where a case file was opened. The trident was confiscated as evidence.
Charges filed
