Jens Spahn files criminal defamation complaint against rapper Ski Aggu over Twitch drug claims

On the late evening of 18 August 2026, German rapper Ski Aggu (August Jean Diederich) appeared as a guest on the "Almani Show", a live program hosted by the streamer and rapper Almani on the platform Twitch. During the live conversation, the 28-year-old musician told an anecdote claiming that he had encountered 46-year-old CDU politician Jens Spahn and Spahn's husband, Daniel Funke, at a private party. Ski Aggu alleged that both men were actively consuming illicit narcotics, specifically cocaine, using the German slang phrase that they had consumed the heaviest lines. He further referred to the event as a chem-party, an expression denoting private gatherings where synthetic drug use accompanies sexual encounters. In the same broadcast, Ski Aggu claimed that Spahn openly flaunted a Rolex watch and displayed immense wealth following historical pandemic mask procurements. Immediately realizing the legal exposure of his remarks, the rapper asked the host multiple times to edit the statements out before publication, an impossibility during an unedited live stream.

Legal retaliation from Spahn and Höcker

Clips of the drug allegations quickly circulated across external social media platforms, prompting an immediate legal response from Spahn. Spahn, a former federal health minister who resigned from his post as Union parliamentary group leader in July 2026 following controversy regarding the birth of his child through a US surrogate mother, instructed media lawyer Ralf Höcker to intervene. Spahn's office and legal team issued formal cease-and-desist warnings to the video creators, leading to the deletion of the original stream recordings.
