Texas power facility for data centers
A primary component of the bilateral package is a 22.3 billion dollar gas-fired electricity generation project in Encinal, Texas. The facility will generate dedicated power directly for artificial intelligence data centers operating in the area. Initial commercial operations at the Encinal plant are scheduled to begin in 2029, according to the South Korean government.

Alaska pipeline and nuclear construction
The remaining initiatives in the agreement focus on fuel transport and nuclear power development across the United States. The natural gas initiative involves constructing a 1,300-kilometer pipeline across Alaska. Gas extracted from northern Alaska will travel along the pipeline route to a port located in the southern part of the state. At the terminal, the natural gas will undergo processing into liquefied natural gas before maritime export to Asian markets. The agreement additionally covers the construction of several nuclear power plants.
