Slayyyter announces companion album Wor$t Man in America for December release
Slayyyter will release her nine-track album Wor$t Man in America on 4 December 2026 through RECORDS and Columbia Records, following the conclusion of her North American tour.
Companion project details
Slayyyter announced on 5 October 2026 that her upcoming studio album, Wor$t Man in America, will be released on 4 December 2026 through RECORDS and Columbia Records. The nine-track project serves as a companion and counterpart to her third studio album, Wor$t Girl in America, which came out on 27 March 2026. A label press release stated that the new record presents contrasting visuals and examines the themes of the previous release from an opposing perspective. Some songs act as direct inversions, while others revisit familiar concepts from a new vantage point to build a parallel narrative. The announcement followed a teaser poster campaign that informed fans that the date was important. Slayyyter addressed her choice to continue exploring the sonic world of her previous record in an interview with Rolling Stone.
I want to live here for a little longer, so I'm kind of making an inverse album, if you will.
Singles and complete track list
The track list for Wor$t Man in America contains nine songs designed as extensions of her catalog. Two singles from the set have already appeared on digital platforms, beginning with the July 2026 release of Brand New Chanel$, a continuation of her earlier electroclash track Beat Up Chanel$. The release gave Slayyyter her first career appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In September 2026, she released Crank 2, which provides a fresh interpretation of her earlier song Crank. Not all nine tracks serve as direct sequels, though each connects conceptually to the preceding album. The full track sequence includes Brand New Chanel$, Crank 2, $$$, Nekromantik!, I Think He's Got a Girl, Hey Boyyy, Parking Lot, Perfect Woman, and Hymn.
Live previews on tour
Slayyyter began previewing material from the upcoming record during the opening date of her Worst Girl in the World tour in Missouri in July 2026. That opening performance included the live debuts of Brand New Chanel$, Crank 2, Nekromantik!, and I Think He's Got a Girl before their studio availability. Later that same week, she officially released the studio version of Brand New Chanel$ to streaming services. On 4 October 2026, the pop singer concluded the North American leg of the tour at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York. The Brooklyn concert featured songs from Wor$t Girl in America as well as unreleased selections from the companion record, including Nekromantik!, I Think He's Got a Girl, and Hymn. Her touring schedule continues with sold-out concert dates across the United Kingdom and continental Europe.
Chart success and artistic direction
The album reveal follows a period of commercial milestones for the singer, whose album Wor$t Girl in America earned her first number one on Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart earlier in 2026. The album received critical acclaim and festival appearances that expanded her audience throughout the year. In September 2026, Lady Gaga used Slayyyter's song I'M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS in a TikTok video, prompting Slayyyter to post an enthusiastic response on her Instagram Story saying that she loves Gaga. Slayyyter noted in her June interview that the companion project allows her to maintain creative continuity with her recent musical output.
I just want the core of everything to feel like me, because it finally feels that.
