Śląsk Wrocław secured their first victory of the season by defeating Italian club Dolomiti Energia Trento 94:81 in the second round of the EuroCup.
Strong first half in Trento
WKS Śląsk Wrocław earned their first win of the season on Tuesday, defeating Dolomiti Energia Trento 94:81 in the second round of the EuroCup regular season. The Polish club entered the contest following an opening round home loss to KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (75:99), while Trento held a 1-0 record in the competition. Śląsk began the game on an 11:3 scoring run inside the first three minutes under head coach Danny Franco. Although Jordan Bayehe and Isaiah Bigelow led a Trento comeback to level the score at 13:13 and briefly take the lead, Kyrell Luc and Isaih Moor restored Śląsk's advantage, with Moor converting a buzzer-beater to close the first quarter at 28:22.
Building the halftime cushion

Weathering Trento's third-quarter surge
Śląsk maintained control through the early stages of the third quarter, matching Trento basket for basket before a dunk by Malik Parsons established a 65:46 lead. Dolomiti Energia responded with a 13:0 scoring run initiated by Charlie Brown Jr. and Quincy Olivari, cutting the deficit to 65:59. The scoring drought ended when Scruggs converted two free throws, halting the Italian run. Śląsk carried an eight-point advantage into the final quarter, leading 69:61 after thirty minutes of play.

The 94:81 victory brings Śląsk's EuroCup record to 1-1 after two rounds of group play. Trento also sits at 1-1 following the home defeat. Śląsk will play their third EuroCup fixture at home on 14 October at 19:00 against Italian side Napoli Basketball.
