Shakira adds thirteenth Madrid concert for 12 October to conclude European tour
Promoter Live Nation has scheduled an additional performance at Madrid's Macondo Park on 12 October 2026, extending the Colombian singer's sold-out residency to thirteen dates on Spain's National Day.
Extension for Spanish National Day
Shakira has expanded her concert residency in Madrid by adding a thirteenth and final performance on Monday, 12 October 2026. The new date falls on Spain's National Day, known as Día de la Hispanidad, which is an official public holiday across the country. Concert promoter Live Nation announced the extension after fans purchased all available tickets for the twelve previously scheduled dates at the venue. The European residency, staged under the title of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour and also known locally as Es Latina, began on 18 September 2026 and was previously scheduled to end on Sunday, 11 October. The organizer confirmed that the additional show serves as a closing event celebrating Latin American cultural identity and unity.
Due to very high demand, Shakira adds a new and final date in Madrid on 12 October. A grand farewell with friends, it will be an unforgettable night where we will also have very special guests on stage.
Ticketing schedule and organization
Concert organizers have scheduled the ticket rollout across two distinct phases starting on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. Presale access for Santander Music and SMusic clients will open at 15:00 on Tuesday, while general public sales will begin twenty-four hours later on Wednesday, 7 October at 10:00 through Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and El Corte Inglés. Pino Sagliocco, the president of Live Nation Spain, will present details of the final show during a press conference on Tuesday morning at the Hotel Nomade Temple, located at Gran Vía 11 in Madrid. The Colombian singer confirmed on social media that she plans to invite several surprise performers to the stage for the closing night.
I am going to have guest artists on stage who will blow everyone away.
Venue layout and guest performances
The residency takes place at Macondo Park, a temporary complex spanning 185,000 square metres erected within the Iberdrola Music space in Madrid's southern district of Villaverde. Named after the fictional town in Gabriel García Márquez's novel, the venue includes themed pavilions alongside a custom-built stadium with a capacity of 55,000 spectators per show. Across earlier dates, Shakira performed alongside guest artists including Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Manuel Turizo, and Dua Lipa. On Saturday, 3 October 2026, the concert featuring Dua Lipa was livestreamed globally on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, achieving the platform's highest viewership for a live broadcast by a female artist.
Tour conclusion in Madrid
Before the closing concert on 12 October, Shakira will perform three consecutive scheduled concerts on 9, 10, and 11 October 2026. The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is certified as the highest-grossing Latin tour worldwide.
