Selma leads second consecutive round
Selma Ezzine secured her second consecutive first-place finish on the sixteenth edition of the Rai 1 variety program Tale e Quale Show on 30 September 2026. Performing as Beyoncé with the ballad Listen, the singer from Sannio earned 65 points and near-unanimous approval from the jury. Her live performance alongside the studio orchestra drew a standing ovation from the audience and direct praise from judge Cristiano Malgioglio. The win followed her first-place finish in the opening episode of the season, where she performed as British singer Raye. The result established Selma as the early favorite of the competition, which is hosted by Carlo Conti and features eleven celebrity contestants.

Jury evaluations and viral social reactions
The episode began with an opening sketch involving Leonardo Pieraccioni and Giorgio Panariello, who video called host Carlo Conti to deliver birthday greetings to Panariello. The regular judging panel consisting of Cristiano Malgioglio, Elettra Lamborghini, and Alessandro Siani was joined by impressionist Ubaldo Pantani as the fourth guest judge. Pantani brought professional impressionist experience to the judging table as the guest evaluator for the evening. Beyond the top scores, audience discussion focused on Anna Pettinelli's imitation of Ditonellapiaga performing Che fastidio, a song that originally placed third at the Sanremo Music Festival. Malgioglio was unimpressed by the execution and issued a direct assessment from the judges' desk.
It looked like an unauthorized parody.
Video clips of Pettinelli's routine spread across social media networks following the television broadcast. Online viewers shared commentary comparing the quality of the routine to earlier comedic performances by Carmen Di Pietro.
