Rosalía premieres unreleased song with mystery male vocalist during Los Angeles Lux Tour concert
During her second night at Inglewood's Kia Forum, the Spanish singer played a one-minute snippet of an electronic track, igniting fan theories about the unidentified male collaborator.
A cinematic spectacle
Rosalía brought her Lux Tour to the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Wednesday, July 1, transforming the arena into a setting reminiscent of a ballet. She emerged from a crate lowered by backup performers, opening with "Sexo, violencia y llantas" from her latest album Lux. The show featured a live orchestra playing from a pit in the middle of the floor, and Rosalía joined the musicians during a later segment.
New song snippet sparks speculation
During a break in the concert, a capsule suspended above the floor began to rotate, releasing smoke as red lights bathed the venue. A recording of an unreleased track then played over the speakers for just over a minute, while the lyrics were displayed on screens in English. The song, markedly more electronic and danceable than the material on Lux, includes a male voice that has not been identified. Fans immediately began speculating online, with names such as Myke Towers, Jhay Cortez, Guitarricadelafuente, and Latin Mafia among the guesses. Rosalía has not commented on the track or its release date.
Confessional moments with celebrities
The tour's confessional skit, where a guest shares a personal story on separate screens, featured actress Odessa A'zion on the second night. She recounted a friend's breakup, explaining that the friend's boyfriend had claimed to be traveling to Europe to find himself but was actually on a romantic getaway with another woman. The previous night, Colombian singer Karol G had taken the confessional and revealed a past relationship in which her partner refused to celebrate his birthday with her.
Voy a confesarte algo. Estuve en una relación donde a esa persona no le gustaba celebrar su cumpleaños conmigo.
Dedications and covers
Rosalía dedicated her song "Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti" to her Euphoria co-star and close friend Alexa Demie, following a heartfelt speech. Later, she performed a cover of Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" while standing before a gold frame on a stage transformed to resemble a museum, with fans watching as if she were a work of art.
