Italian singer Raf postpones arena tour to autumn 2027 for throat surgery
Italian singer-songwriter Raf has delayed his October 2026 arena tour to autumn 2027 to undergo surgery on his pharynx, offering ticket refunds through 30 October.
Health complications and tour postponement
Italian singer-songwriter Raf announced on 1 October 2026 that he must undergo surgery on his pharynx, requiring him to postpone his upcoming arena tour by a full year. The "Infinito - Palasport" tour, originally scheduled across three Italian cities in October 2026, will now take place in autumn 2027 to allow for surgery and complete vocal rehabilitation. The throat issue resurfaced in late August 2026, but the singer managed to complete his scheduled summer dates using medication before doctors advised against continued drug therapy.
Raf shared the news directly with his audience in a public statement detailing the medical necessity behind the delay.
As you know, concerts are scheduled many months in advance and sometimes, in the meantime, unexpected events happen. At the end of August, unfortunately, a pharyngeal problem returned that I thought I had solved with last year's surgery. I was still able to complete the summer tour thanks to medications, which allowed me to manage the situation, but whose long-term use is not recommended.
Rescheduled dates and refund policy
The postponement also shifts the geographical sequence of the tour, which was originally planned to begin in Naples. Under the new calendar, the tour opens in Milan at the Unipol Forum on 2 October 2027, replacing the original date of 12 October 2026. The second stop will take place in Rome at the Palazzo dello Sport on 9 October 2027, moved from 17 October 2026. The final date is set for Naples at the Palapartenope on 14 October 2027, which was initially scheduled as the tour opener on 9 October 2026.
All tickets purchased for the 2026 shows remain valid for the corresponding rescheduled dates in 2027. Ticket holders who are unable to attend the new dates or prefer a refund can submit requests through the TicketOne ticketing platform until 30 October 2026.

Previous surgery and career context
This operation is not the first throat procedure for the artist. In September 2024, Raf underwent a planned, minimally invasive surgical procedure on his pharynx and larynx intended to resolve ongoing issues and improve his vocal performance. Following that procedure, his wife Gabriella Labate shared a video on Instagram from the hospital where Raf reassured his followers while recovering from sedation.
Prior to the recurrence of the condition, Raf completed his "Infinito - Estate 2026" tour, which marked the 25th anniversary of his hit single "Infinito". That summer tour concluded on 20 September 2026 at the Barrocci Festival in Sant'Angelo di Gatteo. The arena tour was designed as a retrospective covering a 40-year musical career encompassing 14 studio albums and over 20 million record sales worldwide, featuring songs such as "Self Control", "Cosa resterà degli anni '80", "Ti pretendo", and "Sei la più bella del mondo".
Raf emphasized that taking the appropriate time for physical recovery remains his priority before stepping back onto arena stages.
Now I will have to undergo a new definitive procedure and above all give my voice the time necessary to recover. It is a necessary step, which I must face by respecting the indicated recovery times in order to return to doing what I love in the best conditions. I am sorry to make you wait, especially because I know how much we were waiting for these concerts. Thank you for the affection you always make me feel.
